I'm the owner of Sugar Rush Bakery
I love baking & decorating cakes. Baking is something I learned from my Granny who always made the most beautiful cakes.
Growing up (baking = love).
I hope that I can pass that love down in my cakes. I love seeing people get excited about their favorite sweets and enjoy every bite..

I've been baking since I was about 6 years old with my granny and decorating cakes since 1998.
I finished cake decorating classes in 2000 as a Master Wilton Cake Decorator, I've taken private lessons from a wonderful talented pastry chef and I continue to learn, I travel every year to take specialty cake classes given by some of the top cake and sugar artists in the county, many seen on TV.
I've owned two full service bakeries, which both included a deli and gift shop.
One in Rogers, TX and one in Temple, TX.
I recently built a New Cake Cottage in Cyclone near my home and
hold cake tasting appointments in Temple.
I closed both full service bakeries so that I could focus on my two favorite passions:
MY FAMILY and CAKES
In the last 13 years.....
I've designed thousands of cakes for all types of events & people including rock stars, actors, polititions, organizations and corporations.
In 2010 alone I made over 500 cakes.
I've entered and won many cake decorating contests over the last few years and I can't wait to challenge my myself even more next time.

Thanks to everyone who entered our 2009 Silly Cake Photo Contest this past month! We studied all 1200-plus entries and, though the judging got a little heated, were able to narrow the list down to nineteen of the silliest, most creative and well-executed cakes.
